JCRC Urges Voters to Participate in Tuesday's Primary Election

The Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) of Jewish Peninsula encourages all eligible voters to vote in Tuesday's Primary. Below you will find information you need to be an informed voter. You can use the links below to determine which district is yours, which candidates are running, and where and how you can cast your ballot.

Primary Election Day in Virginia is Tuesday, August 4, 2026. Polling places are open from 6am to 7pm.   Voters can use the Polling Place and Ballot Information Lookup tool to get current information about their Election Day voting location and ballot information.  

Virginia is an “open primary” state, meaning you can choose the political party’s ballot you wish to vote. You cannot vote both ballots.  Virginia law requires all voters to provide either an acceptable form of ID or sign an ID Confirmation Statement at the polls.

U.S. House of Representatives: District 1 Democratic Primary
