Dr. Finkelman is Visiting Professor at the University of Toledo College of Law. As a legal historian, his distinguished career has included the Presidency and Chancellorship of Gratz College, the Chapman Distinguished Professorship of Law at the University of Tulsa College of Law and the President William McKinley Distinguished Professorship of Law and Public Policy at Albany Law School. Having served as an expert witness in the Alabama Ten Commandments Monument Case (Glassroth v. Moore), Dr. Finkelman will speak on similar cases in the American South, examining the relationship of the Ten Commandments to American law and the impetus behind such attempts.
